Dr. Carol Ann Fischer, D.C, N.D.
Background
Dr. Carol Ann Fischer currently has an active practice in the Livonia, Michigan area. Her purpose is to help as many people as possible without harmful drugs or needless surgery. Dr. Fischer has studied chiropractic, nutrition, wellness, acupuncture, applied kinesiology, trigger point therapy, pressure point therapy, iridology, herbology, hormones, and homeopathy. Following graduation from Chiropractic College in 1985, Dr. Fischer established a practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she combined all of her education and expertise to improve the health of others.

She was awarded her Naturopathic Degree in 2006 from Belford University. In 2007 Dr. Fischer established TLC Holistic Wellness to provide holistic wellness chiropractic care to the people of Michigan. As a caring alternative health care physician she is successful in helping men, women and children live healthier, pain free lives. She also specializes in solving difficult cases using her unique holistic approach, incorporating nutrition, muscle reflex testing, chiropractic, wellness, detoxification and homeopathy to balance hormones naturally. Dr. Fischer has been active in chiropractic, clinical nutrition, and holistic wellness health care for over 25 years.
Continuing Education
Since 1985 an average of 100 credit hours each year are various educational seminars learning the latest in practice management, wellness and health, hormones and nutritional research including Clinical Nutrition, Holistic Health, Wellness, Detoxification and Women's Health Care.
Community Services
  1. Worked with the American Red Cross to raise money to support their programs.
  2. Worked with Special Olympics to raise money to support their programs.
  3. Worked with Roadrunner Food Bank to raise money to support their programs.
  4. Worked with DARE to raise money to support their programs.
  5. Performed health screenings and workshops as a community service.
  6. Lectured in the community through the Doctor's Speaker's Bureau, a non-profit group of doctors.
  7. Presently lectures in the community through the Foundation of Wellness Professionals, a non-profit group of dedicated doctors who donate their time to educate the public on current health topics.
  8. Presently works with local charities to raise money to support their programs, including local libraries and women's shelters.
Experience As An Educator
For over 25 years she has taught over 200 classes to various public groups, day care providers and business organizations in topics including stress and health disorders: Eat Your Way Thin, Is It Really Your Thyroid, Surviving Stress, Balancing Hormones Naturally, Fibromyalgia, 5 Secrets to Permanent Weight Loss, Pressure Point Therapy, Allergies, ADD/ADHD and Breaking The Cycle of Pain. Dr. Fischer is available for speaking engagements on a variety of health topics free of charge for groups of ten or more people in the local area.

Dr. Fischer has co-authored numerous published articles, pamphlets and booklets on health, stress and children. Her articles on health and wellness have appeared in Natural Awakenings (Wayne County edition) and Cosozo Health magazines. Dr. Fischer has been a regular contributing columnist to the monthly magazine Body, Mind Spirit since 2007. She has appeared both on TV and radio, and has been a guest on the Crossroads in Health program and The Consumer Connection on talk radio WNZK in Southfield, Michigan, 690 AM Informative Listening. Dr. Fischer is also a regular contributor and co-host on the weekly Wellness for Prosperity radio show as heard on WNZK AM 690.
